Job description

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The USG1 PMO within the GPS Mission Engineering Management Office (MEMO) manages and executes the technical delivery of highly regulated cloud infrastructure for critical national security customers. Serving as the strategic bridge between Government mission owners, Sovereign Operations (SovOps), and product engineering, the team ensures that both standard Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and fully air-gapped Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) solutions are deployed with the highest standards of security compliance. The USG1 PMO provides strategic technical program management, drives system accreditation (A&A), and connects specialized customer environments to Google capabilities. By acting as a trusted technical advisor, the team enables the Intelligence Community to securely modernize and execute their most critical missions.

Google Public Sector brings the magic of Google to the mission of government and education with solutions purpose-built for enterprises. We focus on helping United States public sector institutions accelerate their digital transformations, and we continue to make significant investments and grow our team to meet the complex needs of local, state and federal government and educational institutions.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
