Treasury Operations Coordinator

Location: Alpena, Michigan (On-site)

Join Our Treasury Team

Northwood Solutions, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Treasury Operations Coordinator to support the daily operations of our Treasury function. This role is critical to ensuring timely banking activities, positive pay administration, document processing, check handling, and treasury operational support.

This position requires an on-site presence in Alpena due to responsibilities involving physical check processing, document handling, banking support activities, and operational treasury functions.

What You'll Do

Daily Treasury Operations

  • Download and distribute daily bank statements.
  • Download and maintain bank transaction activity.
  • Support daily cash management processes.
  • Maintain treasury spreadsheets and tracking logs.
  • Organize electronic and physical treasury records.

Banking Administration

  • Upload Positive Pay files.
  • Monitor Positive Pay and ACH Positive Pay exceptions.
  • Assist with bank inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Maintain monthly bank statement archives.
  • Monitor treasury email alerts and banking notifications.

Check & Payment Support

  • Coordinate payment processing activities.
  • Review and approve payments and maintain treasury documentation.
  • Monitor check inventory and order supplies.
  • Support stop-payment requests.
  • Assist with deposit processing activities.

Treasury Support Activities

  • Support weekly funding transfers.
  • Assist with vendor credit applications and documentation.
  • Support banking and treasury administrative projects.
  • Maintain treasury procedures and documentation.

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Preferred

  • Experience in banking, accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or finance.
  • Experience using online banking platforms.
  • Experience working with spreadsheets and reconciliation activities.
