Position Purpose

The Product Support Sales Representative is responsible for the sales of TriStar JCB’s parts and service solutions.

As a PSSR, you will perform inspections on customer owned equipment and make service and repair recommendations to develop customer-driven solutions utilizing TriStar JCB’s unique abilities as a JCB authorized dealer.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

Establish new customer accounts

Service and maintain existing customer accounts

Meet and exceed strategic goals

Utilize CRM system to manage customer relationships

Develop strong customer relationships

Respond quickly to leads and qualify customers

Develop equipment quotes, financing quotes, and other sales proposals as needed

Meet set requirements for continued professional development

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of equipment maintenance and repair practices.

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and CRM software.

Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree, technical training, or equivalent work experience preferred.

Previous outside sales, product support sales, service sales, parts sales, or customer support experience.

3+ years of experience in heavy equipment, construction equipment, agriculture equipment, truck, diesel engine, or related industries.
