Turn Window Server

Wellen Park Golf & Country Club, located in North Port, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Turn Window Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. Responsibilities

• Delivers and promotes prompt, courteous and friendly service to all members, guests and employees.
• Performs opening duties and side work as assigned by manager.
• Operates our drive through window for golf carts.
• Promptly answers phone calls and places orders for pick-up in timely fashion.
• Answers questions and suggests menu items.
• Prepares member’s orders.
• Assembles food in to-go boxes and bags and ensures all necessary items such as utensils and condiments are included.
• Serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, and ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Advises supervisor/manager of any complaints as soon as they occur.
• Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager.
• Studies all menu items and can explain dishes to members and guests upon request or if a special item is being prepared.
• Attends pre-shift line-up meetings before each service shift.
• Attends staff meetings as scheduled by department manager.

Education/Certificates/Licenses/Training:

• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Must obtain any required local and state licenses or certifications.

Experience/Background/Knowledge:

• Prior Server experience preferred.

Skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with managers and employees in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to perform basic math computations.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
