This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Vice President, Enterprise Sales based in the United States.
Take the lead in driving enterprise sales growth across the Southeast region of the United States in a fully remote leadership role. You will shape regional sales strategies, guide a high-performing team, and build strong relationships with enterprise customers and senior stakeholders. Working closely with executive leadership and global sales teams, you will translate business objectives into actionable plans that maximize revenue and expand market share. You will also use market intelligence, performance metrics, and competitive insights to strengthen sales execution and identify new opportunities. This position is ideal for an experienced technology sales leader who combines strategic vision with hands-on team development. With a strong focus on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, you will help drive sustainable commercial success.
Accountabilities:
- Own and exceed annual enterprise sales targets across the assigned Southeast U.S. territory.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase revenue, expand the customer base, and capture new market opportunities.
- Lead, manage, and develop the Southeast Enterprise Sales team, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance oversight.
- Communicate the organization’s vision, priorities, and sales objectives clearly across the team.
- Establish key performance indicators, monitor individual and team results, and implement improvement plans where needed.
- Identify market trends, competitive activity, customer needs, and emerging opportunities, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Present sales performance, forecasts, and strategic updates to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with global sales teams to implement shared strategies, best practices, and consistent sales methodologies.
- Partner with Enterprise Account Executives to improve sales execution, knowledge sharing, and customer engagement.
- Develop and launch new business initiatives that support revenue growth and market expansion.
- Work with senior leaders, Controlling, and Accounting on sales budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation.
- Strengthen sales pipeline management, lead tracking, forecasting, and CRM adoption to improve visibility and decision-making.
- Address underperformance through effective coaching, performance management, and accountability.
- Serve as an ambassador for organizational culture and values, fostering collaboration and professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven success in senior sales roles, with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- At least five years of experience as a sales executive, sales manager, sales and marketing director, or in a comparable leadership position.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategic sales plans within a technology sales environment.
- Strong leadership and team development skills, including the ability to coach sales professionals and manage performance.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills, including experience engaging executive and C-level stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage the complete sales cycle, from strategy and prospecting through negotiation and closing.
- Ability to clearly articulate product and service value propositions and differentiate offerings from competitors.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to use market insights and sales performance data to guide decisions.
- Advanced experience with CRM systems in a sales leadership capacity, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows OS, and web-based applications.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and operate effectively with limited day-to-day supervision.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed, up to 40% of the year.
- Candidates ideally reside in the Southeast region of the United States.
