Position OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and hardworking Upper Warehouse/Receiving Team Member to join our team. In this role, you will keep product moving from the truck to the sales floor by receiving shipments, unloading product, stocking, and putting merchandise away.
The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If you enjoy staying active and take pride in a well-organized space, this is a great fit.
What You Will Do- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of merchandise received
- Unload, stock, and put away product throughout the warehouse
- Transport product to specific departments across the store
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, the trash compactor, and the cardboard crusher, in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, including sweeping, dusting, and disposing of packaging materials
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your teammates
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs. continuously
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable becoming certified to operate a tow motor (forklift)
- Basic working knowledge of computers
- Must be at least 18 years of age
