EMS SW & Cal Manager

Our team consists of passionate professionals driven by a shared vision of creating a greener and more sustainable future through innovation, technology, and excellence.In this role, you will be instrumental in the Powertrain/Thermal Technical Center, using your extensive skills to process and analyze large volumes of data. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including Engineering, Quality Control and VINFAST suppliers, to create cutting-edge solutions that will drive the future of transportation.

• Lead and coordinate all EMS development activities.
• Own SOR, DFMEA and overall calibration development.
• Manage timing, quality and dataset management.
• Coordinate engine sensors/actuators, base-engine calibration, emission calibration, OBD1/OBD2, calibration fleet and dataset management.
• Lead overall calibration planning and quality gates.
• Participate in test-bed, chassis dyno, vehicle, road and environmental testing.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience
• Solid experience in EMS software and calibration, ICE sensors and actuators, lambda sensors, catalyst and GPF calibration/control, base-model calibration, OBD1/OBD2 diagnostic algorithms, and OBM/IUPR strategies.
• Proven experience in calibration management, dataset release and configuration control, calibration timing plan development and tracking, quality gate definition and execution, and technical progress reporting.
• Good knowledge of internal combustion engines (ICE) and auxiliary systems, as well as vehicle emission homologation requirements and applicable OBD regulations.
