Job description
Salary: £60,000 - 85,000 per year
Requirements
- Must be eligible for Security Clearance.
- Expertise in technology procurement and strategic sourcing.
- Commercial and supplier management experience.
- Knowledge of public sector governance and assurance processes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Experience within Central Government and/or Defence environments.
- Understanding of technology and digital services procurement.
- Desirable experience with artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, generative AI platforms and services, or advanced data and analytics technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technology procurement and sourcing activities.
- Develop procurement and commercial strategies for technology programmes.
- Manage competitive tender processes and supplier evaluations.
- Provide commercial expertise across cloud, cyber, data and AI procurements.
- Support governance, assurance and approval activities.
- Manage supplier relationships and maximise commercial value.
- Engage with senior stakeholders across Government and Defence programmes.
