We’re growing quickly and are looking for an experienced 3PL Fulfillment Manager to oversee our third-party logistics operations, ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately, on time, and in perfect condition.
Position Overview
The 3PL Fulfillment Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day relationships with our third-party logistics providers, ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, and service excellence. This role requires a hands-on leader who understands warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment within a 3PL environment.
You’ll serve as the main point of contact for solving operational bottlenecks, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment Oversight – Monitor pick/pack/ship processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and cost efficiency.
- Leadership & Scheduling – Lead, train, and motivate the in-house fulfillment team; create and maintain staffing schedules for fulfillment associates; coordinate sales-driven fulfillment schedules.
- Inventory Accuracy – Partner with 3PL to maintain optimal stock levels, resolve discrepancies, and manage cycle counts.
- KPI Tracking & Reporting – Develop, track, and report on metrics such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, returns, and cost per order.
- Technology & Process Improvement – Evaluate, select, and implement software solutions (e.g., WMS, ERP integrations, order tracking systems) to improve fulfillment operations and reporting.
- Process Optimization – Identify and implement improvements in fulfillment workflows, packaging, and inventory management.
- Issue Resolution – Lead problem-solving for delayed shipments, damaged goods, and customer escalations related to fulfillment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with Customer Service, Procurement, and Sales to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years in 3PL management, warehouse operations, or supply chain fulfillment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes, inventory management systems (WMS), and order processing.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make process improvements.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with eCommerce fulfillment.
- Familiarity with Fishbowl, Shipstation, Woo Commerce.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement certifications.
