About Talladega College:
Talladega College, Alabama's first private historically black liberal arts college,
has been known for academic excellence for over 150 years. It is listed among

Report's best national liberal arts colleges, best HBCUs and Top Performers on

Job Summary:
As a member of the Division of Student Life and Success, the Academic
Advisor will provide academic advising services to Freshman and Sophomore
students, including a specialized focus on advising student athletes. The advisor
will serve as a primary resource for students in academic advising and academic
support. The advisor holistically guides students to plan, learn, reflect, and
engage in the world in ways appropriate for their educational path, career, and
personal development and serves as a key member of the academic support
team providing targeted assistance with academic success, coaching and
support. The Academic Advisor will report to the Director of Persistence and
Student Success.
