Job Summary:
We are a local CPA firm located in Portland Metro area. We service various industries such as Retail, Hospitality, Medical and many more. We are looking for a new team member to be able to handle client relationships and to assist with accurate and reliable financial reporting.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate accounting, data entry, and account analysis. Knowledge of Financial Statements, Payroll Management, Debits/Credits, Math, Excel, and tax filing.
Duties:
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation tasks
- Manage payroll processes and ensure accuracy
- Handle data entry tasks efficiently
- Assist in corporate accounting function
- Communicate with Clients
- Collaborate with the accounting team on various projects
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong understanding of debits and credits principles
- Proficiency in math and numerical skills
- Familiarity with Excel
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Knowledge of Corporate and Partnership Taxes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to $28.00 per hour
