Mental Health America of Licking County (MHA) is seeking a mission-driven and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the operations. This role is essential in helping our team stay organized, efficient, and focused on delivering meaningful impact to the community by providing administrative support for the management team and team members. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and aligned with our mission which is to empower our community through education, prevention and advocacy, fostering a culture of mental wellness.
Essential Job Functions:
- Prepare and document bank deposits.
- Acknowledgement of donations.
- Maintain DataTracker donor database.
- Complete credit card reconciliations for MHA office and YES Club.
- Order/purchase office and program supplies.
- Mail the semi-annual MHA newsletters.
- General filing and making copies.
- Assist with answering phone calls and greeting visitors.
- Participate in monthly team meetings.
- Maintain cultural humility in service delivery.
- Accept other duties as assigned or delegated by the MHA Executive Director and Associate Director.
Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of two years of administrative experience.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be trustworthy with confidential materials and information.
- Ability to relate to individuals of all ages, cultural backgrounds and socioeconomic status.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Acceptable background check.
Position particulars: This is a year-round, part-time (10-20 hours per week) position. Hours will be worked within business hours of 8 am – 4:30 pm Monday - Friday.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
