ABH Enterprises/Mid States Asphalt is currently seeking an experienced individual to fill the position of an Asphalt Mixing Operator. This is full time position in a manufacturing/production environment with inside and outside work.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate and monitor asphalt mixing tanks.
- Responsible for an asphalt stillyard area.
- Ability to unload asphalt trucks.
- Ability to learn multiple jobs and perform them safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret detailed procedures and follow them accurately.
- Be able to work with limited supervision.
- Performs general housekeeping in designated or other assigned areas.
- Ability to take information from a daily production schedule and apply to production requirements.
- Support facility in meeting departmental goals in safety, productivity, quality and continuous improvement.
- Ability to identify problems, determine root cause and assist with resolution.
- Ability to work any shift, extended hours with minimal notice, and work weekends when needed.
- Any other duties or tasks as may be assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- High school education or GED required
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be able to stand and work for multiple hours at a time, climb stairs and ladders, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work alternating shifts, including weekends when needed.
- Must be able to pass Company Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
