The role, in brief:
The Assistant Account Executive at Vladimir Jones is responsible for ensuring that all client work is properly and efficiently executed across internal teams. This person is responsible to make sure that the agency is meeting the applicable deadlines and needs for each of our clients, creating work that is reflective of both the clients objectives and the agency strategy.
In this role, you will oversee and manage the work in tandem with both the Account Executive and Account Coordinator on your team/shared accounts. You will be tasked with ongoing project management of all deliverables, and ensuring that internal teams are set up for success by giving them the appropriate information and timing to bring their very best work to life. You must be someone who understands ‘the next step’ and proactively takes it, in effect maintaining momentum on each of your accounts.
Responsibilities include:
Project Management and Process
- Assist and oversee proper input of all projects into project management software with correct assignment and timing
- Project brief creation and ability to brief teams on project kick offs and manage ongoing communication in relation to ongoing initiatives towards deliverable dates
- Set example for and enforce alignment of process across teams (Discovery, Solutions, Execution)
- Must be able to demonstrate fluency in project management software; job starts, develops timelines and change orders (we currently use Workamajig)
- Consistent communication w/ Account Execs and SMEs to ensure next steps are clear, timelines are up-to-date and work is moving
- Own client status report, works towards leading client status meeting
- Owns asset management process and input
- Schedule and coordinate meetings: right people, technology, front desk notification, sign, food, flowers, client travel, etc.
- Keeps Client Share and G Drive organized for assigned accounts
- Create client backgrounders and ongoing competitive tracking
Reporting
- Understanding of dashboard setup and meaning of metrics, and how this applies to overall client business goals
Strategy
- Demonstrated knowledge of high level account strategy for assigned accounts; must understand all work, how it ties to client goals, objectives and scope of work and be an active contributor in guiding internal teams against that scope
- Develop expertise in client’s business and industry
Communication
- Ability to lead client communications, via email and in meetings where necessary
- Friendly and proactive collaboration with all internal and external teams; must have the ability to work across all team disciplines on behalf of the client and have ability to clearly communicate client needs/goals
- Ability to pushback internally in order to achieve client deadlines and push work through the agency
Presentation
- Understanding of key elements for ongoing status meetings and provide detailed recaps
- Active contributor to presentation/meeting organization
- Other tasks as assigned

- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 2+ years of advertising agency experience

Schedule and Location:
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm. Remote work available Mondays and Fridays.
This role is based out of our Denver, CO or Colorado Springs, CO office.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hour .
