Job Description
Responsible for creating a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition.**National General is seeking an Auto Damage Estimator with strong time management skills, proficiency in CCC One estimating software, excellent negotiation abilities, and sharp attention to detail. A proven commitment to delivering a customer-focused experience is essential.**
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrates sound estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses
- Demonstrates basic understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company
- Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the file within authority limits
- Applies sound understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
- Builds functional relationships with both internal and external customers
Education
- 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience
- 2 or more years experience (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This job does not have supervisory duties.

- In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Compensation
Base compensation offered for this role is $19.92 -$37.74 hourly and is based on experience and qualifications.
