US Brick has a current vacancy to join our diverse and dynamic company as an Auxiliary Packaging/Machine Operator. This role will report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor.
What you will be doing:
- Packages and inspects brick in a fast-paced production environment
- Maintain clean area
- Assigned to various jobs when needed
- Follow all safety, quality, production, environmental policies, and procedures
- Be a good team member, assisting others as needed in a helpful way
- Contribute to team effort by performing other assigned duties as needed
- Monitoring product quality frequently
- Reporting problems to mitigate safety issues
- Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
- Making minor adjustments with equipment/machine
- Troubleshooting
The required skills and education to be successful:
- High school or equivalent required
- Able to perform various form of physical labor (i.e lifting 50 lbs/ standing)
- Read, write, speak English and basic math to record data correctly.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Committed to working in a zero harm workplace
- Able to work flexible hours when needed
