General Manager Job Opening: The Heist Food Cart Pod

About The Heist:
The Heist is a vibrant food cart pod featuring a curated selection of food carts, a full-service bar, and a specialty coffee shop. As we prepare for future growth—including a second location opening next year—we’re seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our flagship site and help shape our expanding vision. We're looking for an experienced bar manager who can help implement best practices and direct our staff to achieve our goals and improve efficiencies.
Position Overview:
The General Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of The Heist, with primary responsibility for the bar and coffee shop, as well as managing relationships with our food cart tenants. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with a strong background in bar management and a passion for building community-focused hospitality experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of bar and coffee shop operations, including staff management, inventory, and customer service
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with food cart tenants, ensuring smooth operations and a cohesive guest experience
- Hire, train, and supervise staff for the bar and coffee shop
- Develop and implement systems for scheduling, ordering, and quality control
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, and cost controls for all areas of the pod
- Ensure compliance with OLCC and health department regulations
- Collaborate with ownership on marketing, events, and future expansion plans
- Prepare to take on multi-site management as we open our second location in 2026
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing bars (required)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage teams and foster a positive workplace culture
- Experience with inventory management, scheduling, and budgeting
- Knowledge of OLCC regulations and best practices in bar operations
- Adaptable, proactive, and excited to help grow The Heist brand
