Job Overview:
The Bark Bouncer is a proactive, people-loving team member responsible for keeping the park safe, clean, and fun. You’ll be stationed in the outdoor dog play areas, helping monitor dog behavior, educating guests, and maintaining a positive vibe throughout the park. Check-In counter shifts will also be included.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise dogs and guests to ensure safe, friendly, and appropriate behavior at all times.
- Enforce park rules and intervene when necessary to de-escalate conflicts (dog or human).
- Greet guests and help guide new visitors on park etiquette and safety policies.
- Spot and clean up messes promptly (yes, that includes poop scooping!).
- Check for signs of illness, aggression, or inappropriate behavior in dogs.
- Monitor weather conditions and help clear the park quickly if needed.
- Perform regular sweeps of the outdoor area for hazards or maintenance needs.
- Support event activities or special promotions when scheduled.
- Communicate with other team members and escalate issues to the manager as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must love dogs—and be confident around all sizes and temperaments.
- Comfortable enforcing rules and speaking up in a friendly but firm way.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage occasional chaos with a smile.
- Great customer service and communication skills.
- Able to be on your feet outdoors for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Must be 18 or older
Bonus Points If You:
- Have experience in pet care, dog training, animal shelter work, or similar roles.
- Have basic knowledge of dog body language and behavior.
- Are CPR/First Aid certified for pets (or willing to get certified).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
