Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and passionate individual to join our team as a Dog Daycare Attendant. As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and supervision to dogs in our daycare facility. This is a great opportunity for animal lovers who are looking to work in a fun and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor dogs in the daycare facility to ensure their safety and well-being
- Engage in playtime activities with the dogs, including interactive games and exercise
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by regularly cleaning kennels, play areas, bathrooms, and common areas
- Monitor dog behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent conflicts or ensure the safety of all dogs
- Assist with feeding and providing fresh water to the dogs according to their individual needs
- Interact with pet owners, providing updates on their dog's activities and behavior
Requirements:
- Previous experience in animal care, such as working as a veterinary assistant, kennel attendant, or pet sitter is preferred
- Knowledge of basic animal behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds safely and confidently
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
