Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with proficiency in various accounting software. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
Responsibilities:
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including income, expenses, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks (or other accounting software)
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage invoices, receipts, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and organize financial documentation for annual tax filings
- Communicate with management and external accountants to provide required financial data
- Process employee monthly reimbursements through Ramp
- Handle other finance-related tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of U.S. GAAP accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
- Excellent communication skills and high professional integrity
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Bilingual in Mandarin is preferred
