Job Description
Bookkeeper - Responsible for general accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable and general ledger. Responsible for providing financial and clerical services in order to ensure efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations.
Salary
$19-$25 / hr (depending on experience)+ benefits after 90-day probation period.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Review and verify vendor invoices to ensure accuracy.
- Responsible for accurately entering accounting payable data.
- Working closely with the buying team to address inquiries and resolve any payment discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and process payments in a timely manner.
- Process weekly check runs and daily ACH & Wires.
- Prepare monthly reconciliation for bank accounts and credit cards.
- Support department manager for timesheet review.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure they fulfill all customer requests.
- Filing and maintence of employee files
- Some HR admin duties
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum two years of relevant experience, 3 - 5 years preferred.
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- Proficient in English, Spanish or Mandarin a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Advanced skills in MS Office and Acumatica preferred
