Sun Orchard is the undisputed market leader in not-from-concentrate citrus ingredients and refreshments. We are looking for an experienced Bottling Lead to join our team! The Bottling Lead Directs and manages employees engaged in bottling of all finished goods. Also, maintains/directs cleanliness of equipment and bottling area, keep accuracy of inventory, coordinate change over and efficiency of the production line. Also, train and support employees for maximum efficiency and quality of the bottling operations. Moreover, this employee oversees, operates, clean, maintain, inspect Critical Control Points of our process based on the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) plan of the Facility. In addition, bottling lead will be covering any position on the bottling department in case an employee calls off.
This position is 2nd shift, schedule (8 hours a day, 5 days a week)

Key Responsibilities
- Trains employees to ensure excellent performance.
- Assigns and coordinates employee work to promote efficiency of operations.
- Ensures that employees follow all company policies and procedures, including GMPs, Safety and Quality requirements.
- Inspects all job assignments for quality and completion.
- Inspects bottling areas prior and after shift ensuring proper sanitation and organization standards are met.
- Maintains records such as bottling reports.
- Distributes copies of blending report to appropriate employees.
- Ensures all required paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Works closely with Quality Assurance, Production Planning and Receiving to complete jobs accurately and on time.
- Validate and maintain accuracy of inventory movements made by operators.
- Conducts training and safety meetings as required on a regular basis.
- Follows all company policies and procedures regarding GMPs, SOPs and Quality standards.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required. Some college preferred
- Language/Communications: Ability to read and interpret basic instructional details and related information.
- Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Computer Skills: Competency with Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Manufacturing software; and general email writing and online research skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years warehouse or food production experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- The employee may be required to stand, walk and sit for long periods at a time, wear the proper protective equipment as required, climb a ladder or stairs, hear and communicate readily, use both hands and arms. Use of telephone, cell phones, a computer, copier, and other office equipment will be required. Travel including automobile or airplane may also be required.
Working Conditions
- This position is performed in an office and manufacturing environment. There may be exposure to noise, work near moving mechanical parts and forklifts, citrus fumes or airborne particles, and outdoor weather conditions
