Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience by providing exceptional service, assisting customers with their needs, and promoting our products. This position is essential for maintaining the store's reputation for quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Pleasingly welcome customers upon arrival and assist them
- Work with the brides to know their vision for the perfect wedding gown and help their vision come true
- Taking the bride’s measurements to ensure accuracy in dress orders
- Answering phones, emails, and voicemails in a timely and professional manner
- Learn bridal live software to book appointments and do various daily tasks on the portal
- Providing information on current sales / promotions, based on information provided by Marketing / Socials team
- Attention to detail when ringing up the customers. Make sure all information is accurate.
- Maintaining sales floor appearance to look presentable and clean at all times
- Open boxes when they arrive and inspect newly arrived dresses for any faultiness
- Learning how to use the designer portals to search inventory, checking voicemails, and company text messages
- Update brides with ship dates inquiries and any gown customization
- Following up with brides with regards to their interest in gown purchases or a return appointment to finalize order
- Maintaining close relationships with brides to build trust
- Pressing dresses and double-checking work performed on the dress
- Cleaning front-of-house, back-of-house, common areas, and bathrooms in accordance with company cleaning procedures
- Meet individual sales goals is very important
- Working closely with the management and admin with regards to the delivery of bridal gowns to ensure on time delivery
- Attending quarterly trainings and meetings to improve sales rates, product knowledge, and overall process improvement
- Helping fellow employees with their job duties as needed
- Any duties as assigned by upper management
- Gross Motor: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, squat, bend, and lift up to (25) lbs
- Fine Motor: Using zippers, buttons, typing, clipping, clamping dresses
- Weekends: Required
- Try on wedding gowns to post in social media.
- Customer Service: A focus on providing a positive and memorable shopping experience is key.
- Sales Experience: Prior sales experience, especially in retail or high-end boutiques, is often preferred
- Knowledge of Bridal Trends: Familiarity with bridal fashion trends, designers, and fabrics is essential
- Passion for Bridal Fashion: A genuine interest in weddings and bridal fashion can be a significant asset
- Attention to Detail: The ability to pay close attention to details, such as matching accessories, alterations, and overall styling, is important.
- Ability to Create Complete Looks: Some roles may require hands-on experience creating complete wedding looks, including dresses, accessories such as veils, jewelry and headpieces.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
