DESCRIPTION
The Fee Strategy team is looking for an exceptional Business Analyst to drive data analysis and insights to help develop our fee strategies and products that support the global Selling businesses. In this role you will leverage your SQL skills to construct and implement data pipeline to collect data, clean/organize data to get it ready for analysis and perform structured analysis to glean insights that will identify areas of opportunity. This will directly influence actionable business decisions regarding our fee proposals and products for current business and influence strategies for the launch of new businesses. You should be self-starter who is proficient in SQL, has an extremely high level of customer focus, has a passion for strategy and analysis, and loves mining large and complex datasets.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Build and maintain recurring metrics and reports across global Selling businesses
- Complete ad hoc data retrieval and analysis using relational databases, Excel and other data management systems
- Develop new metrics product for historic and business lifecycle analysis
- Design and implement reporting solutions enabling stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions
- Support cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of projects and initiatives
- Help develop requirements and specifications with business and development teams
- Effectively communicate insights to key stakeholders through both written and verbal communication
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with GenAI tools for automation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
