Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner And Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and enjoyably. This position requires excellent customer service skills and a passion for the food industry, as you will be the link between the kitchen and the dining area.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and presented beautifully.
- Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs.
- Help with food handling and preparation as needed, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- Support catering events by setting up and breaking down food stations as required.
- Maintain an organized work environment, ensuring all supplies are stocked.
Skills
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including food service and hospitality principles.
- Experience in the food industry or catering is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and safety practices.
