Job Description
AECOM is currently seeking an experienced CEI Project Administrator to support various transportation design-build projects throughout the Jacksonville, Florida area.
Responsibilities:
- Receive general instructions regarding assignments and exercise initiative and independent judgment in solving work problems related to transportation engineering and construction projects
- Direct and assign specific tasks to administrative and field staff, assisting in all phases of the construction project
- Prepare and review progress estimates and final estimates throughout the construction project duration
- Communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing) with team members, clients, and stakeholders
- Conduct work requiring independent evaluation, selection, adaptation, and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria
- Manage projects of substantial complexity, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards
- Assume lead responsibilities for a team of engineers and professional support personnel when required
- Coordinate with various departments and external agencies to ensure smooth project execution
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Participate in project meetings and represent the company in client interactions
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, correspondence, and technical submittals
- Assist in the preparation of contract documents, change orders, and claims analysis
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department and organization
- Mentor junior staff members and provide guidance on technical and professional development
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education
- Valid US Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review
- Due to the nature of the projects associated with this position a valid US citizenship is required
Preferred Requirements:
- FDOT Advanced MOT
- CTQP Final Estimates Level II
- CTQP Quality Control Manager
