Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to join our team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement communication strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Write, edit, and proofread press releases, articles, and other communications materials.
- Manage social media accounts, creating engaging content to increase audience interaction.
- Conduct research to support communication initiatives and ensure accuracy in messaging.
- Foster relationships with media representatives to enhance public relations efforts.
- Assist in organizing public speaking engagements and events to promote the organization.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on public perception and engagement.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AP style for writing and editing communications materials.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to represent the organization effectively.
- Experience in journalism or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of media relations practices and experience working with journalists.
- Familiarity with marketing principles and public relations strategies.
- Demonstrated ability in social media management across various platforms.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on clarity and impact.

Pay: $54,080.00 - $59,080.00 per year
