This is a temporary role for up to 3 months.

Summary

As a Full-Cycle Sales Recruiter, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring qualified professionals to fill specific roles within the Commercial Sales Team, requiring strong interpersonal skills and an understanding of immediate business needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a forward-thinking attitude, and a passion for biotechnology and life sciences.

Job Responsibilities

    • Own full-cycle recruitment for commercial roles, including Sales and other go-to-market positions, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

    • Partner closely with Sales leadership to understand hiring needs, team structures, and territory strategies—aligning sourcing efforts with commercial growth goals.

    • Source proactively using LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM talent pools, referrals, and strategic outreach to build diverse, high-quality candidate pipelines for all sales territories.

    • Manage and prioritize a high volume of requisitions, balancing speed with quality while delivering consistent progress updates to stakeholders.

    • Screen and evaluate candidates for sales acumen, industry knowledge, and alignment with GeneDx’s mission and values (“Diagnosis is Power”).

    • Coordinate and support a fast-paced interview process, including scheduling, hiring manager calibration, and timely feedback collection to move candidates efficiently through stages.

    • Utilize Greenhouse ATS and CRM to track candidate activity, maintain accurate req data, and ensure compliance with internal processes and OFCCP regulations.

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with HRBPs, compensation, and TA operations to ensure offers are competitive, equitable, and aligned with GeneDx's compensation philosophy.

    • Support referral and campaign-based hiring initiatives, working with employer branding and marketing to increase candidate engagement and visibility in commercial hiring.


Education, Experience, and Skills

  • 3–5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, with a focus on sales, commercial, or go-to-market roles; healthcare, biotech, or diagnostics industry required

    • Proven ability to manage high-volume requisitions and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
    • Strong understanding of sales competencies, including quota-carrying roles, customer lifecycle engagement, and regional/territory structures
    • Experience partnering with hiring managers and senior leadership to drive alignment and hiring strategy
    • Proficiency in Greenhouse ATS and sourcing platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter; experience with CRM functionality is a plus
    • Demonstrated ability to source, assess, and present diverse candidate slates
    • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to build trust with both candidates and internal stakeholders
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to juggle competing priorities and pivot quickly

  • High-quality testing: Our laboratory is CLIA certified and CAP accredited and most of our tests are also New York State approved.
  • Advanced detection: By interrogating genes for complex variants, we can identify the underlying causes of conditions that may otherwise be missed.

CLINICAL EXPERTISE

  • Thorough analysis: We classify variants according to our custom adaptation of the most recent guidelines. We then leverage our rich internal database for additional interpretation evidence.
  • Customized care: Our experts review all test results and write reports in a clear, concise, and personalized way. We also include information for research studies in specific clinical situations.
  • Impactful discovery: Our researchers continue working to find answers even after testing is complete. Through both internal research efforts and global collaborations, we have identified and published hundreds of new disease-gene relationships and developed novel tools for genomic data analysis.
