We are seeking a Deputy Director of Government Contracting (DDGC) to oversee, mentor, and support our Government Contract Managers (GCMs) and Senior Government Contract Managers (SGCMs), ensuring effective contract execution and business development.
Compensation Structure
This is a 1099 commission-based role with substantial earning potential.
- 20% commission on contracts you personally secure and manage.
- 5% commission on contracts executed by the GCMs and SGCMs you manage.
- Projected annual earnings exceeding $200,000+ based on contract performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee GCMs and SGCMs, ensuring successful contract acquisition and execution.
- Conduct interviews and hiring decisions for new GCMs and SGCMs.
- Lead, train, and mentor contracting professionals to improve efficiency and performance.
- Ensure government contract compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other procurement regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to secure high-value federal, state, and local contracts.
- Collaborate with the Director of Government Contracting (DGC) to optimize business development efforts.
- Monitor contract performance and submit weekly reports on team activities, revenue, and new opportunities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in government contracting, procurement, or contract management.
- Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and federal acquisition strategies.
- Proven track record of winning and managing multi-million-dollar government contracts.
- Experience in contract negotiations, proposal development, and regulatory compliance.
- Leadership experience with team management and mentorship responsibilities.
- Ability to conduct interviews, train, and oversee new hires in government contracting.
- AI-driven decision-making mindset, with an understanding of technology’s impact on government contracts.

- Core Availability: 8 AM – 5 PM EST (7 AM - 3 PM PST)
- Flexible work schedule with required meeting attendance
