As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers through our fit process, managing sales transactions, and maintaining the overall presentation of the store.
Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Demonstrate product knowledge through effective product demos to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Manage cash handling procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Maintain stock levels by organizing merchandise on the sales floor and assisting with inventory management.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist in pricing, markdowns, and inventory control.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries effectively.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using cash registers is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Basic understanding of retail math concepts is beneficial.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
