Job Description: Cyber Instructor
Clearance: TS/SCI/POLY Required.

Work week: 8 hrs/day,
Work Location: Onsite, Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Headquarters, 200 MacDill Blvd SE, Washington, DC 20032
Salary: $138,000+ based on experience
Description: Serve as a platform instructor (in person and online) for DIA’s Cyber Threat Analysis Course (CTAC).
Qualifications:
- Instructors shall possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or five (5) years of experience in intelligence analysis.
- Experience with cyber-attacks.
- Possess demonstrated recent experience in the analysis of cyber threats and threat actors.
- Experience prosecuting and mitigating malware attacks, denial of service attacks, and dark web activity.
- Possess knowledge of cyber intelligence and intelligence in general.
- A working knowledge of computer operating systems including Windows 365.
- Familiar with Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model, Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) Internet protocol (IP) – TCP/IP.
- A computer certification that may include Net+, Security+, CySA+.
- Experience with teaching/instructing.
- A working knowledge of Windows, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
Job Summary:
- Present DIA-approved curriculum and support materials, lead classroom discussions and exercises, and respond to student questions.
- Assist with the instruction of the cyber-related components of the Intelligence Support to Information Operations (ISIO) and similar courses.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of support materials, including but not limited to a training task inventory, program of instruction, lesson plans, course syllabus, course schedule, classroom exercises, evaluation rubrics, examinations, and job aids.
- Qualify as an instructor under ADI’s Instructor Professionalism Program (IPP) within twelve months of hire.
- Shall be required to qualify as an instructor on at least one other JMITC course, as assigned by the Government, within twelve months of initial qualification as a Cyber instructor.
- May be required to attend and participate in training conferences and meetings at the direction and approval of the Government.
