LB&B Associates Inc. is hiring an on-call Contract Instructor Electronic Warfare Operator to support our contract to provide contractor instructor services for P-8 devices at NAS Jacksonville, Florida.
A P-8 CIEWO must be or have been a P-8 Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) qualified Acoustic Warfare Operator or have been a simulator instructor within the preceding five (5) years. A CIEWO must have a minimum of one fleet tour in the P-8 and minimum of one tour as an FRS Instructor. Deviations from the listed qualifications may be waived on a case by case basis by the VP-30 Commanding Officer. A CIEWO shall have a minimum security clearance level of Secret.
Certifications. A CIEWO must successfully complete the P-8 Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) open-book and closed-book exams as well as a simulator procedural evaluation and must annually renew and maintain qualifications with the FRS. The minimum test and procedural evaluation scores will be as established by the FRS. The FRS Fleet NATOPS department will administer the procedural evaluation and the open-book and closed-book exams. The CIEWO must demonstrate an understanding of the mission, aircraft operating systems and normal/emergency crew procedures required in the execution of the P-8 aircraft.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
