JOB OVERVIEW:

Turning Points is currently seeking a full-time Data Coordinator for the Family Support Services division, which includes Project FAM, the Food & Wellness Network (FAWN), and the Family Finding program. The Data Coordinator is primarily responsible for the monitoring and quality assurance of data entry and reporting within all program databases for all programs within the Family Support Services division. The Data Coordinator will also be responsible for compiling and documenting resources that will benefit the program and creating analysis on accessibility, usage, and effectiveness. The Data Coordinator will also develop processes and procedures to ensure program compliance. The Data Coordinator reports directly to the Divisional Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the direction of the Program Director, the Family Support Services Data Coordinator will:

  • Serve as the primary data contact (Data Coordinator) with the School District of Philadelphia and the PA Department of Education for student records and documentation for the ELECT Program
  • Retrieve, maintain, and upload required documentation for ELECT student enrollment in the program
  • Support the monitoring of the DECO and CSC data management system with the goal of delivering complete and accurate data entry for ELECT students
  • Input and collect all client data in Apricot for all programs
  • Implement data requirements and ensure that timely and accurate data entry is maintained for all programs within the Family Support Services Division
  • Provide all staff with account access to required databases to perform duties
  • Collaborate with program staff to ensure adherence to weekly, monthly, quarterly & yearly data requirements for all programs
  • Run compliance and billing reports as needed
  • Prepare all monthly reports and submit to the Program Director for review and analysis
  • Develop effective and innovative systems and processes for effective data management across all programs
  • Conduct data-specific training for all program staff members and the onboarding of new staff and interns
  • Support all administrative tasks upon request (program invoices, referrals, etc.)

SKILLS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent computer proficiency, including knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Solid knowledge of the ELECT program policies and procedures, primarily relating to service delivery and data reporting requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Experience

  • Experience with data entry, quality assurance, and program evaluation, preferably in a nonprofit setting
  • Preferred: Experience working with underserved youth/experience in an ELECT program

CLEARANCES: Current Pennsylvania child abuse history clearance, criminal history check, and FBI clearance

PAY GRADE: 15
