Duties
As a Kitchen Team Member, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensuring all food handling and safety guidelines are strictly followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Utilizing kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other culinary tools.
- Supporting the team in maintaining inventory levels by helping with stock rotation and storage of ingredients.
- Collaborating with fellow team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
Experience
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and handling practices.
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- A strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
