We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with dementia and Alzheimer's and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those they care for. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in promoting independence and dignity for our clients while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring the safety of both the caregiver and the client.
- Support clients in home exclusive engagement program
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, to implement care plans effectively.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of ADLs and meal preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and HIPAA compliance.
- Experience working with individuals with the elderly and dementia is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.50 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
