We are a family owned, modern, PPO and fee-for-service private practice that has been a mainstay in Chatsworth for over 40 years. We are searching for a personable, friendly, and experienced treatment coordinator to join and grow with our team full time. Responsibilities for this role include entering patient information onto our data system, familiarity with PPO insurance plans, presentation of treatment plans, answering patients’ questions, and helping us keep our patients healthy by scheduling them for regular care.
To be successful in this role, organization and multitasking is important. Ultimately, performing all duties in a manner that ensures the efficiency of the dental practice.
Treatment Coordinator Duties & Responsibilities
- Present patients with an estimate based on information provided by Insurance in a professional and courteous manner.
- Follow up on unscheduled treatment and hygiene reactivation
- Assisting patients with completing forms
- Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules
- Updating patients’ records and documenting recent treatments and procedures
- Communicating with insurance companies
- Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed
- Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, scanning and emailing
Front Office Requirements
- At least one year of dental office experience is required
- Certification in office administration, medical administration, or related fields is beneficial
- Familiar with Dental Insurance PPO plans
- Excellent customer service skills
- Sound knowledge of dental terminology
- Proficient in dental practice management software - Open Dental is a plus
- Good telephone etiquette
- Exceptional organizational skills

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
