Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing patient experiences by coordinating treatment plans and ensuring seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers. This position requires strong organizational skills, knowledge of dental terminology, and the ability to manage various clerical tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits for dental procedures, ensuring accurate information is communicated to patients.
- Utilize phone systems to manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and follow up with patients as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records by documenting treatment plans, updates, and communications in compliance with ICD-10 standards.
- Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies to ensure smooth operations within the clinic.
- Provide support in medical billing processes, ensuring timely submission of claims and follow-up on outstanding payments.
- Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate effective communication regarding patient needs and treatment options.

Experience
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred.
