Dental Treatment Coordinator
Full‑Time – Springfield, MO
Guiding patients through their treatment journey
We’re looking for a driven professional who excels at presenting dental treatment plans and guiding patients through their oral care. Your main responsibility will be helping patients understand their treatment options, explaining the value of recommended care, and assisting with financing. You’ll also use your knowledge of insurance to verify benefits when necessary, ensuring patients receive accurate estimates—without being tasked with submitting claims.
What you’ll do
- Speak with patients about proposed treatment plans, answer their questions, and highlight the importance of maintaining oral health.
- Present financing options (e.g., CareCredit), collect payments and copays, and post charges accurately.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits when needed; understand EOBs and coverage details.
- Coordinate schedules to maximize provider productivity; assist with check‑in/out, phone calls, and general front‑office tasks.
- Build relationships with referring offices and contribute to marketing and promotional efforts.
- Maintain a welcoming, informative patient experience from first contact through final payment.
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years of dental field experience with solid knowledge of treatment plans and PPO insurance requirements.
- Proven success in treatment plan presentation and case acceptance.
- Experience verifying insurance benefits.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with practice‑management software (Eaglesoft preferred).
- A collaborative, team‑oriented mindset with strong organizational and math skills.
