Job Summary
The Digital Operations Specialist will work in partnership with leadership and various operational teams and organizational departments to develop, implement and support programs and projects that ensure operational efficiency, enhanced safety, increased productivity, reduced cost, and continuous improvement. Assists in managing the day-to-day operational needs as well as the strategic goals of the business.
Essential Functions
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop event timelines and workflows related to operational aspects.
Determine platform needs and select tools based on event goals.
Set up and test online event platforms, including registration. pages, automated communications, and integrations with CRM and marketing tools.
Monitor live events for quality, accessibility, and audience experience from a technical perspective.
Provide digital support to check-in experience.
Track attendance, engagement metrics, and feedback to evaluate performance and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with data and development teams to sync attendee data with donor databases and CRMs.
Serve as backup to process event revenue and POC for event revenue.
Serve as backup for pulling event communication lists.
Create and update donation pages as needed, continually monitoring pages for quality, accuracy and optimization of donor experience.
Provide backup support for basic website updates as needed.
Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for event execution.
Stay current with event tech trends and propose tools or strategies to improve engagement and efficiency.
Train internal staff on event best practices and platform use.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business, healthcare administration or related field
3 years of experience in digital operations, philanthropy, or a related field
Proficiency with major event platforms; such as Cvent
Experience integrating event tools with CRMs or marketing platforms; such as OneCause, Donor Drive, Giftsmart, runsignup, Blackbaud CRM, Salesforce
Strong project management and communication skills
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues calmly in a live setting
Detail-oriented with a passion for process, optimization, and audience experience
Preferred
Experience working in mission-driven, nonprofit, or foundation environments
Comfort using analytics tools to assess event performance
