Function: The Director of Business Services plans and directs the Business Services department of the Credit Union. This role involves developing and executing strategies to support the financial needs of business members, with an initial emphasis on execution and direct involvement in operational tasks to ensure successful implementation of new initiatives. Driving growth in commercial lending and deposits and ensuring exceptional service delivery. The Director of Business Services is responsible for managing a team, establishing and maintaining relationships with business members, and contributing to the Credit Union's overall success.

2. Establishes the day-to-day business practices to build an ongoing small business services area within the Credit Union, including procedures for account servicing and establishment of cross-sales utilizing teams across the Credit Union such as branch operations.
3. Actively engage in day-to-day operations of the Business Services Department to ensure seamless execution of strategies and processes.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with business members, understanding their financial needs and goals. Assure the highest standards for member satisfaction through timely resolution of member service issues as it relates to Business services.
5. Assures the establishment of sound business lending practices by leading the creation and implementation of effective business loan underwriting policies and procedures, resulting in improved risk management and member satisfaction among business members. .
6. Analyze market trends and identify and implement strategies to grow the small business lending portfolio and the small business deposit services including new product development.
7. Lead a team of business services professionals, providing guidance, coaching and support to achieve departmental objectives.
8. Prepare reports and presentations for Senior Management, providing insights into the performance of the business services department and making recommendations for improvement.
9. Oversees deposit services for business accounts, ensuring efficient processing and compliance with regulatory requirements.
10. Assures compliance of all business services with Credit Union policies and procedures and recommends policy changes and adjustments. Assures compliance with applicable laws and regulatory guidelines and oversees development of any necessary changes in procedures to assure compliance.
11. Provides leadership in the selection, and application of technology in building and managing small business services area within the Credit Union by working closely with Information Technology and other departments to assure integration of small business technology with all other key technology and data solutions.
12. Takes a leadership role in representing the Credit Union and its capabilities to the local small business market in order to build awareness, brand image, credibility and new business.
13. Perform other projects and job-related duties as assigned.
