About the Role
TRANZACT is looking for a Director of Finance to join its Finance Team based in Fort Lee, NJ. This individual will fulfill a key strategic and financial role, working on FP&A, corporate strategy, investor relations, and corporate development activities. This person will conduct high-impact analyses of company performance, including identifying historical trends and future opportunities and will leverage financial and operational data to provide critical insights, explain business results, and drive profitability and growth. The Director of Finance will work daily with senior leaders to provide industry knowledge and streamline financial forecasts and modeling. This leadership role has significant growth opportunity and should expect to take on increasing responsibility over the financial analytics function. It will report to the SVP of Finance and be directly involved in all facets of the company’s daily operations and decision-making.
The specific responsibilities include
- Drive day-to-day activities of internal finance function to maximize effectiveness of operational initiatives; Manage and mentor supporting team of financial analysts
- Contribute to decision-making regarding revenue growth and cost management to influence the strategic direction of the business
- Analyze daily performance to identify insights and underlying causes; Improve financial and KPI tracking, reporting, and forecasting
- Build and maintain financial models to ensure operational decisions are aligned with profitability goals and to identify opportunities for investment and growth
- Analyze financial statements to determine trends, future projections, and significant drivers of results
- Prepare budgets and monthly forecasts
- Support accounting close and collaborate with accounting team to streamline and automate reporting
- Work on special projects and ad hoc analysis as determined by senior leadership, including M&A, Board presentations, and corporate strategy initiatives
- Communicate conclusions and information needs to key stakeholders
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation.
Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $200,000 USD per year and above based on experience. This role is also eligible to participate in the annual bonus and equity programs.

Qualifications
What you need to be successful
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or economics preferred; MBA a plus
- 4-6+ years of full-time experience in applicable function(s), including investment banking, consulting, corporate development/strategy, or financial planning and analysis
- Advanced experience with Excel
- Advanced experience with finance and accounting concepts
- Experience with Power BI (preferred, not required)
- Expertise in building and maintaining financial models and complex datasets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in solving problems and providing insights that are data-driven and aligned with business goals
