Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. This position is essential for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to a safe and enjoyable dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cooking and food handling.
- Support the culinary team during peak hours by bussing tables and ensuring timely service.
- Ensure that all food safety standards are followed in accordance with health regulations.
- Help set up for banquets or catering events as required.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols in food handling.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration with colleagues.
