Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while providing exceptional customer service. This role involves managing appointments, handling inquiries, and assisting with various administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, providing a warm and friendly welcome.
- Manage appointment scheduling and confirm bookings for pet care services.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, pricing, and policies.
- Maintain accurate records of client information and pet care services provided.
- Assist in managing the flow of clients and pets in the facility to ensure efficient operations.
- Handle payment transactions and maintain cash register accuracy.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide basic information on pet care, training, and grooming services as needed.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience in dog training or animal restraint is a plus.
- Knowledge of pet care practices, including grooming and general animal care.
- Previous experience as a veterinary technician or assistant is beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., assisting with larger pets).
- Familiarity with kennel operations and procedures is an advantage.
- A passion for working with animals and providing high-quality care is essential.
