A leading beverage manufacturing company in Fontana has an open position for a Downline Operator. The candidate must have good attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast paced environment. The candidate must also be willing to work third shift (10:00 pm-6:30 am).
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible to ensure efficient operation of distribution equipment and supports maintenance activities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Monitor and fix equipment faults as well as clearing any material jams
- Conduct quality checks on product as required
- Monitor raw materials and supplies to ensure uninterrupted production runs
- Support mechanics in appropriate maintenance activities
- Clear lines as required during production runs as well as intermediate clearance during down times of straws, consumables, fallen packs and clear glue build-up
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education and/or years of experience:
- High School Diploma
- Previous line production experience desired
