We are excited to announce that Med Center Health is transitioning to Epic, the leading electronic health record (EHR) system. This partnership will transform how we deliver and coordinate care across our organization.
We are building an innovative, collaborative team who will help shape the future of care at Med Center Health. The Epic Trainer/Educator role will support both the initial implementation and the continued maintenance and optimization of Epic following go-live.

Position Summary
The Epic Trainer/Educator is responsible for implementing, configuring, testing, and supporting Epic applications across Med Center Health. The role works closely with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to ensure Epic is aligned with organizational needs and standard workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates with operational and clinical leaders to assess training needs and develop curriculum that aligns with Epic workflows and organizational standards.
- Designs and develops training materials, job aids, and e-learning modules in alignment with Epic standards and system design decisions.
- Delivers classroom, virtual, and one-on-one training sessions; assists with training logistics, go-live readiness, and user support during cutover.
- Provides ongoing training support, including refresher sessions, optimization training, and updates to materials as system changes occur.
- Evaluates training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, recommending improvements as needed.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date training documentation, curricula, and schedules.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Healthcare, or a related field required; Master’s degree or teaching certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in training, education, or curriculum development required; experience with Epic or healthcare IT preferred.
- Certification: Epic training and certification will be provided at no cost in exchange for a 2 year work commitment.
