Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Outside Sales Representatives to join our high-performance team in the Detroit metropolitan area. This role is ideal for seasoned sales professionals who are motivated, results-oriented, and ready to significantly increase their earning potential.
In this field-based, commission-only position, you will leverage your background in sales to educate homeowners and renters on more affordable utility rate options, while helping them make informed, cost-effective decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to pre-designated residential zones throughout the Detroit area
- Engage directly with customers to evaluate current energy consumption and billing
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and present tailored utility solutions
- Utilize provided sales tools, scripts, and ongoing training to close sales effectively
- Ensure all customer interactions meet the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and service
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Proven experience in door-to-door sales, field sales, or performance-based commission roles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, field-based environment
- Strong work ethic, self-discipline, and commitment to excellence
- Reliable personal transportation
- Ability to begin within 24–48 hours is preferred
Compensation & Advancement
- Commission-only role with high earning potential
- Weekly pay (Fridays); same-day pay available for qualifying representatives
- $1,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days of active selling (eligibility requirements apply)
- Tiered commission structure — higher rates for experienced sales professionals
- Defined path to leadership, team management, and performance-based bonuses
Schedule & Expectations
- Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Two excused absences per month permitted with advance notice
- Strict no-call/no-show policy
