Responsibilities:
The population of Trauma/Surgical ICU patients ranges from single to multi-system injuries, acute exacerbation of chronic health problems, and acute illness. Because of this, you should be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to caring for a variety of patients. Our medical team is highly trained and credentialed in a multitude of procedures. Likewise, our nurses are highly competent and skilled to manage any Trauma/Surgical patient.
As a nurse in this unit, you should have the desire to be a patient and family advocate, have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and have the desire to work closely with other disciplines.
- Graduate of approved nursing program required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Consistent demonstration of Novice / Advance Beginner clinical nursing practice proficiency required
- RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
