About Relief Nursery
Relief Nursery strengthens families with young children through early intervention and comprehensive family support. We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and collaborative Family Navigator / ISRS Provider to join our team in Springfield. This position supports families involved with ODHS Child Welfare through both Navigator and in-home safety and reunification services (ISRS) contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Family Navigator Duties
- Support families referred by ODHS Child Welfare in meeting case plan goals
- Provide culturally respectful, in-home support and resource navigation
- Facilitate communication between families, ODHS, and community providers
- Assist with barriers such as housing, mental health, substance use, and legal challenges
- Track and document all services, interventions, and outcomes
- Transporting clients in personal vehicle when needed
ISRS Provider Duties
- Implement ODHS safety and reunification plans to reduce resource care entry or duration
- Deliver skills training and support to enhance child safety and family stability
- Provide crisis intervention, parenting support, home management, and resource access
- Attend and participate in ODHS meetings and maintain regular communication with caseworkers
- Offer culturally responsive change services and self-management support
Minimum Qualifications

- 3 Years of relevant experience in social services
- Bachelor's degree in social services OR
- 2 years of education + 2 years of relevant experience OR
A Qualified Candidate will have;
- Strong communication and professional writing skills
- Strength-based, culturally responsive approach to working with families
- Knowledge of community resources and basic parenting strategies.
- Ability to meet all documentation, reporting, and legal requirements
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- First Aid/CPR certified (or able to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, Personal Vehicle, and able to increase personal vehicle insurance to meet contract requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- 2+ years of home visiting experience
- Familiarity with ODHS Child Welfare services
Working Conditions
- Flexible schedule may include evenings/weekends
- Frequent travel across Lane County; transportation of clients required
- Exposure to highly stressed environments and challenging client behaviors
- Requires physical mobility in diverse home settings and extended desk work
