Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and an understanding of color theory. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Mix paints to achieve desired colors and textures based on color theory principles.
- Restore and maintain surfaces by applying plaster or stucco as needed.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for surface preparation and finishing work.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure that all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Painter or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with frame carpentry, trim carpentry, masonry, and restoration techniques is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols when using power tools and handling materials.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications related to painting projects.
- Excellent attention to detail with a passion for delivering high-quality workmanship.
