We are seeking a creative and passionate Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design and customer service, with the ability to create beautiful arrangements that meet our clients' needs. The Florist will be responsible for managing floral stock, assisting customers, and contributing to our e-commerce initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions including weddings, funerals, and special events.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with their selections and offering expert advice on floral care.
- Manage inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring stock is well-maintained and organized.
- Process transactions accurately through cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an inviting store atmosphere that showcases our floral designs.
- Participate in e-commerce activities by preparing products for online orders and ensuring timely delivery.
- Assist with landscape maintenance and garden care as needed to enhance the overall aesthetic of our offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in floral design is preferred; retail sales experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online sales strategies is advantageous.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance, gardening practices, and lawn care is beneficial.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- A creative mindset with attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
